Story Biodiversity conservation in China - EU offers 30 million euros to China

A five-year programme for putting into place effective monitoring and information feedback mechanisms for biodiversity conservation was signed in Beijing in November 2005 between China and EU.

UNDP (The United Nations Development Program) will manage the 30 million euro fund and be responsible for the implementation together with the State Environmental Protection Administration of China (SEPA).
