The Convention on Biological Diversity has launched a new web site, using the same URL

The Convention on Biological Diversity now has a new and lighter web site. It still uses the same URL: http://www.biodiv.org. The new site aims at improving sharing of data with other Conventions as well as with organizations and research institutions. Specific information on the homepages of the Clearing-House Mechanism can be found at: http://www.biodiv.org/chm/default.aspx . The new web site also aims at facilitating CEPA ( The Communication, Education and Public Awareness programme of the Convention) through electronic communication tools which can be used to increase interaction with Parties, Governments and stakeholders.
