Collecting information on selected terrestrial invasive alien species in the pan-European area

This study proposes a methodology for collecting information on trends in the distribution and ecological impact of selected terrestrial invasive alien species in the pan-European area. This could show the development of the pressure from selected invasive alien species to biological diversity in the framework of assessing progress towards the target of halting biodiversity loss. In addition to a detailed methodology for the mapping of information, the report includes a demonstration of mapping of six invasive alien species: Giant hodgeweed, red palm weevil, eastern grey squirrel, American mink, slider (a turtle) and Pampas grass.
